Long Banh is a Program Manager for the Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) within the Research and Responsible Gaming division. With over 15 years of experience in addiction and mental health services, Long plays a central role in building a sustainable and socially responsible gaming industry in Massachusetts.
At the MGC, Long works collaboratively with casino operators and community stakeholders to implement innovative responsible gaming initiatives. He is a key contributor to the PlayWell program, where he helps translate complex research into practical tools and resources that empower players to stay in balance. His work often focuses on the intersection of player health, industry regulation, and community-based support.
A Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Long brings a deep clinical understanding of addiction and mental health to his regulatory work. He holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Simmons University and an MBA from Fitchburg State University. Beyond his work in Massachusetts, Long serves as a Board Member for the National Association of Administrators for Disordered Gambling Services (NAADGS), contributing to national conversations on advocacy and the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the gaming industry.
